Primary Focus Provides assistance and guidance regarding National
Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) governance, legislative and strategic issues to a nationwide clientele. Assists on infractions and compliance matters, and other NCAA related matters.
Professional Experience Prior to joining Ice Miller, Ms. Harris worked at theNCAA for nine years:
• Associate (and Assistant) Chief of Staff for Division I as well as Governance Liaison to the NCAA Executive Committee
(1997-August 2002)
• Director for the Committee on Infractions
(1993-1998)
In these roles, she provided staff support, guidance, and strategic assistance to the Division I Board of Directors, Management Council and Cabinets, and other NCAA Committees. Her work with the Committee on Infractions included participating in committee deliberations, drafting committee reports, and assisting with the presentation of the committee’s position to the Infractions Appeals Committee.

• While attending law school, Ms. Harris authored the published note "Does the NCAA Play Fair: A Due Process Analysis of NCAA Enforcement Regulations."
