Administers the association's recognition and national awards program (i.e. Honor Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Administrator of the Year and Nell Jackson Award.) |
Solicit nominations from the membership. Make recommendations to the Board for award nominees and selections. Research and solicit biographical information for nominees. Continuously monitor criteria for awards and make recommended revision to the NACWAA Board. |

Keep membership informed of NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA legislation issues specifically those pertaining to women. Generate/review ideas on existing/proposed NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA legislation. Develop NACWAA position on national athletics governance legislation. Work with coaching associations and other pertinent organizations to share and input information on legislation.

Assist in developing sponsorship and advertising opportunities for the association events, initiatives, newsletters, email blasts, annual directory and the association website, www.nacwaa.org
Research and assist in contacting traditional and non-traditional sponsors and advertisers who would benefit from NACWAA exposure. Methods of contacting would include in person, mailings, phone calls, fax and email. |

Assist in development and planning of fundraising events,
initiatives and planned giving programs to ensure the
financial security and future of the NACWAA Foundation
Fund. The association's current largest fund-raiser
event, the Awesome Auction, monies raised at this event
help fund scholarships and research. |
Assist in the planning
of the Awesome Auction. Procure donations for auction.
Assist with theme and program activities for the auction.
Plan “fun” raising activities for various
NACWAA events. Identify potential donors for legacy giving
and corporate programs that match NACWAA mission. |
