Background
The Administrator of Tomorrow Award is presented to an undergraduate/graduate
student, intern or volunteer, who aspires a career in intercollegiate
athletics. This award, recognizing involvement and/or leadership
role on campus, conference office, or organization and in
the community, is presented to an undergraduate/graduate
student intern or volunteer in NCAA Division I-A, I-AA,
I-AAA; II; III; NAIA/NJCAA/CC and Conferences/Organizations.
Up to seven national honorees will be selected and presented
with their awards on their campuses, in their conference
offices, at their organizations or at select conference/organization
events of choice.
Eligibility and Criteria
Individuals nominated for this award must meet the following
criteria:
1. Demonstrate involvement and/or leadership role on campus
(events, captain, SAAC, etc.) and in the community (specific
examples should be provided).
2. Demonstrate in good standing by providing nominee’s
GPA, if attending school.
Nominations
A recommendation is also required, which includes a brief
typed one-page statement (no more than 500 words) as to
why this individual deserves to be the recipient of the
Administrator of Tomorrow Award. The nominator should provide
information on the nominee regarding specific leadership
abilities and character. Nominees must meet the award criteria
for consideration.
In addition, a personal statement by the nominee is required,
which includes a brief typed one-page (not more than 500
words) statement as to why she aspires to a career in intercollegiate
athletics with specific examples of leadership experiences
included.
Nominators may nominate one person per category for a total
of seven (7) nominees. Nominations must be received in the
NACWAA office by December 15. Forms may be mailed, faxed
