Lisa M. Sweany, formerly the Senior Associate Athletics Director at Grand Valley State in Michigan, has been named Athletics Director at Armstrong Atlantic State effective July 18. Sweany brings extensive experience in NCAA Division II athletics to the Pirate athletics program, including more than 10 years at GVSU. Read the NCAA announcement.

The Summit League selected Angie Torain as Assistant Commissioner for Institutional Services and Championship Administration. Torain was previously Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator at Indiana/Purdue-Indianapolis and has previous experience at The Summit League as an administrator in institutional services and championships and at the NCAA national office as an assistant director of championships.
