Membership Categories & Levels
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Institutional membership in NACWAA includes a group of active members employed by an institution, conference or athletics governance organization (e.g., NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA). Active institutional membership categories:
- NCAA Division I Institution or Conference: $750 for 6 individuals or less; additional members are $125 each
- NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Two-Year College and Athletics Governance Organization: $500 for 4 individuals or less; additional members are $125 each
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Active: $150
Active membership in NACWAA is open to individuals employed by an institution, conference or athletics governance organization (e.g., NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA) who have administrative duties in intercollegiate athletics. Please note: only Active members may vote, hold office and sit on committees.
Associate: Nonprofit—$100 or Corporate—$250
Associate membership in NACWAA is open to individuals who do not meet the criteria for active membership. These are individuals who share NACWAA’s commitment and concern for enhancing the professional role of women in intercollegiate athletics. Included are individuals who represent themselves and not their nonprofit or for-profit employers.
Retiree/Student/Intern: $35
Retiree membership is open to individuals who previously served as intercollegiate athletics administrators. Student/Intern membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students from an institution, conference office or athletics governance organization (e.g., NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA) and who are seeking careers in intercollegiate athletics.
